About Propulsion Print Services

First established in 1988, in Watford, Hertfordshire, primarily as a graphic design company, West Herts Graphics, as we were known then, dealt mainly with other printing companies creating their print-ready artwork, and handling small print jobs for our direct clients.  This successful business formula continued for over ten years, with the company growing year on year.

2000 came, and the onset of digital printing meant a change of company branding, a rename to Propulsion (implying forward motion), and the massive step of purchasing a Xerox digital printing press to allow us to service our ever increasing direct client database who demanded fast-turnaround, short-run printing.


In 2006, a move to a much larger premises, still in Watford, gave us room to add two further printing presses and full print-finishing facilities to our plant list and allowed us to compete with much larger, franchised printing companies, without losing the personal touch that so many of our clients prefer.

2009 brought a huge step forward for us when we became part of the printing.com network. This move has allowed us to service companies, both large and small, in Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley, Abbots Langley, Croxley Green and Rickmansworth and all over Hertfordshire and the Home Counties. With our new lithographical printing capabilities we can print 100,000 leaflets just as easily as we can 500 business cards (which are a steal at just £49+VAT for regular single sided), but with the same quick and friendly service level that ALL of our clients have come to expect, and at a price level that is hard to beat.
